Who even am I?

Good question. I ask myself that all the time! I'll answer by attempting to summarize my entire life in 5 photos.

I was born in Houston, TX

I grew up in a house full of instruments and computers. It was instilled in me at a young age to work hard, be creative and dream big.

Then I moved to Nashville, TN

In 2009, I made an album called “The First of Many”, and it was the only one I made... until 2017... when I made “Part of Me (Not That Part)”. I spent most of my career in Nashville as videographer, photographer and designer for startups. After working in a startup that got acquired, I shifted more in the marketing direction. It's funny how plans can change.

Speaking of changing plans

I woke up on March 3, 2020 to a very loud noise. A tornado ripped through East Nashville, and put a stop to all the big plans I had at the time. After over a decade in Nashville and in the middle of starting a video production and creative agency, I was forced to re-evaluate everything and start over. I remember thinking, "If everything can change, then why can't I?" So, that's what I did. Once we got back on our feet, I decided to change careers from marketing to software engineering.

The show must go on

Homeless and in the wake of a global pandemic, my wife and I got married on March 14, 2020 (11 days after the tornado). What an odd time in the world, and what a blessing to have an amazing partner to share in the craziness of life.

Now we live in Durham, NC

We moved to Durham in 2022 to start our family. Now we have 2 kiddos, a dog and a full life. In the professional world, I'm the Vice President of Engineering at The Other Sports where we are building EndZoneIntel, and other platforms to help high school athletes find their college fit.

And now you're on my website

You might be thinking to yourself, “Wow, he is kind of an oversharer, isn't he?” And you wouldn't be wrong. However, that's not the point! I love to build things, and tell stories. I've been a photographer, videographer and designer almost my whole life, and started writing software before AI learned how to do it. I would be honored to use my passion to help you build whatever it is you want to build.
